A TOGAF Standard 10 Phase B value stream and capability matrix worked for London Grid Distribution. Six stages of the Deliver a new connection value stream run down the side, from Receive application through Assess capacity, Design solution, Construct and Energise to Bill, against six capabilities across the top. A soft accent marker reads Primary where a stage depends on a capability and a calm neutral marker reads Supports where it contributes. The Assess capacity stage row carries the accent tint because it draws on four capabilities, more than any other stage, so it is where a stalled connection is unblocked first. A two-state legend names the two markers.
