Phase B, Business ArchitectureDerived from ArchiMate
ArchiMate Service Realisation View
Trace one business service down to the process, role, application service and component that deliver it.
Service realisation viewpoint: tracing a service to what delivers it
The Service realisation viewpoint shows how a business service is realised by a business process, who is assigned to that process, and which application service and component sit beneath it.
Read it top to bottom: the customer sees one service, the process realises it, and the application layer serves the process. The worked example traces London Grid Distribution's new connection service down to the system that runs it.
When you must prove what sits beneath a customer-facing service before changing or outsourcing it.
