ArchiMate Capability Map

Lay out enterprise capabilities in two levels and shade the cell where investment should go next, the way a heat map would.

Capability Map viewpoint: a two level view of what the business can do

The ArchiMate Capability Map viewpoint gives a structured overview of enterprise capabilities, usually two or three levels deep, and doubles as a heat map for deciding where investment should go.

Each level one capability aggregates the level two capabilities beneath it. London Grid Distribution shades Capacity assessment as its investment priority because connection demand is outgrowing the tools that assess it.
