These terms set out how you can use Ransford's Notes. I have kept them plain on purpose. If you have questions, ask me.

What this service is

Ransford's Notes is an educational platform with courses, tools, templates, and learning resources. Some features require an account so progress and certificates can be saved.

Your responsibilities

Use the site lawfully and do not attempt to break it.
Do not upload or share malicious code.
Do not attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass access controls.
If you create an account, keep your session secure and do not share it.

Payments and donations

Donations and any paid features are processed by Stripe. I do not store card details. If a payment feature is not enabled, the site will still work for learning.

Refunds are handled case by case. If you think something has gone wrong, contact me and I will take a look.

Content and intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, content on this site is owned by me and protected by copyright. You can read the detailed rules for course materials on the course terms page.

Content is for learning and not professional advice.
Tools are for exploration and should not be used with sensitive production data.
Where I share opinions, they are mine and not my employer's.
Success in professional exams is never guaranteed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If there is a dispute, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.
